“I grew up skiing with the annual trip to the Alps, the highlight of the year. Then I developed multiple sclerosis when I was 26 I thought my skiing days were over as the MS progressed to affect my ability to walk without using a stick. Thanks to DSUK lessons, I did what I thought was unimaginable to ski unaided going on my 1st DSUK holiday on my own.
Feeling the buzz of being the first on the slopes, more than that it was great fun on and off the slopes and making friends for life. I have for the first time taken part in a triathlon with Anne who I met on the trip, met for afternoon tea in London, pre-covid and joined the local group in Hemel for fun Sundays so DSUK has really added so much more to my life than just skiing”
