How to find us
What to do when you arrive
- Please arrive 20 minutes before the lesson start time to get ready
- You don’t have to check in with The Snow Centre, you cancome straight to the DSUK Hub, opposite the rental desk. The Hub is well signposted and any Snow Centre Team member will be happy to help you find us.
- Please wear warm, waterproof clothing and gloves. If you need it, clothing can be borrowed from The Snow Centre at no charge, and gloves cab be purchased.
- If you are going to be sit skiing please bring warm outdoor boots or borrow a pair of boots from the clothing desk for the lesson
- Helmets must be worn and are available free of charge on racks near the lesson meeting point
- Your instructor is likely to be busy with other lessons when you arrive, please don’t worry if you can’t see them straight away, wait at the meeting point and your instructor will come to you
- There are areas in the Lodge café and on the balcony both on the first floor, where your friends or family can watch your lesson

The Snow Centre, near the Trafford Centre is an easily accessible, fun and popular leisure destination that is packed with fun things to do for the whole family, snowsports enthusiasts and beginners alike!
At The Snow Centre we’re home to the longest real snow slope in the UK. What says ‘fun’ more than real snow – and lots of it? From sledging and sliding to ski and snowboard lessons and private tuition. We cater for all age groups from 4 yrs upwards, so we’ve really got something for everyone! There’s even a comfortable viewing gallery for the less active, so you can sit back, enjoy a coffee, and watch the excitement unfold.
The Snow Centre has a number of wheelchair accessible toilets and a combined toilet and changing facility, with a hoist and changing bed, that meets the ChangingPlaces standard.
