Lauren Cooper - Disabled Sports Achiever Award

Lauren was presented with the award by former Bolton School pupil Sir Philip Craven

Lauren was born with a rare congenital disease, cycstic hygroma, and has had a gruelling schedule since birth of surgery and treatment at the Royal Manchester Children's hospital and Great Ormond Street, including tongue reconstruction. Despite this, eight year old Lauren has become a skilled alpine skier, competing in UK-wide skiing competitions.

Congratulations to Lauren for this fantastic achievement from everyone at DSUK!
